Technology Fields

All ATC activities are focused on R&D and innovation in five fields of technology. For each technology field a number of activities is organized and services are provided by a team of motivated and qualified full-time and part-time employees. They all have a solid technology or business background with years of experience in the automotive sector.

Lean Manufacturing & Logistics

Lean_Manufacturing_LogisticsDevelopments in manufacturing are very important for the automotive industry in Western Europe, developments to improve existing production processes and to make new production processes highly efficient. So produce the highest quality for the lowest costs.

Also developments to produce with lowest possible energy consumption, as well as CO2 ‘neutral‘ production processes and plants.

Methods as the ‘Toyota Production System’, with the well known terms as TPS, TPM, Lean-manufacturing and the six-sigma methodology are increasing in use, in most of the Automotive companies as OEM’s and Tier 1-2-3 suppliers.

Logistic developments as Just in Time in sequence deliveries of complete off line build modules by Logistic- or Total Service Providers, are mainly used and improved by car-manufacturers and implemented at most Truck manufacturers.
